Every Thursday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

7pm Thursday Nights - $20 Buy In
Poker Night
Get your game face on for Poker Night, every Wednesday at the Waipapakauri Hotel! Whether you're a card shark or a beginner, come down for a night of strategy and skill starting at 7:00 PM. Entry is a $20 buy-in. It’s the perfect mid-week spot to test your luck and enjoy the atmosphere at the hotel.
7pm Thursday Nights - $10 Buy In
8 Ball Pool Competition
Join us at the Waipapakauri Hotel every Thursday night for our 8 Ball Pool Competition! Whether you are a seasoned pro or just looking for a social night out, all players are welcome to come down and test their skills. The competition kicks off at 7:00 PM and runs late, featuring a $10 buy-in with a guaranteed minimum prize pool of $100. Come through, grab a drink, and see you at the tables!

Celebrate the season at the Waipapakauri Hotel’s Seafood Chowder and Kina Opening Competition! Join us on Saturday, January 31st, for a community-focused day of great food and friendly rivalry. The event kicks off at 2:00 PM. Whether you're competing for the best opening or just coming to enjoy a bowl of fresh seafood chowder, it’s going to be a fantastic afternoon for everyone.
February 14th – $25 Entry Per Player
King and Queen of the North
Celebrate Valentine's Day with a competitive twist at our "King and Queen of the North" Drawn Mixed Doubles pool tournament. Taking place on February 14th, this event features an 11:00 AM draw followed by an 11:30 AM start. Entry is $25 per player.
